Dennis loved his friends, and was devoted to his family. He was center stage at Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant for 16+ years. Starting as a car-parker when he was a teenager, he worked his way up to the coveted position of Matre’d in one of the most exclusive restaurants in
South Florida . He also held management positions for other
Miami Beach landmarks including the Roney Pub and Newport Pub, in addition to organizing and running the door of Monty’s Stone Crab in the
Mayfair shops. An easygoing manner and affable personality were the keys to his success. Dennis enjoyed creating and cultivating many strong relationships with influential
South Florida business leaders. Dennis enjoyed friendships with politicians as well as international leaders of industry and investors. He prized living, working and playing in
South Florida and was an avid golfer and fisherman in his spare time. Dennis believed that giving back to the community through contributions of time, effort and money is vital. He was a supporter of many charitable causes and served on the board of the Marti Huizenga Branch of the Boys and Girls club of
Broward
County . Dennis worked tirelessly on all the projects he was involved with. What better way to remember him then by playing the game he loved and supporting the charities he cared about.
