K.I.S.S. provides a nutritious, free snack to approximately 3,000 children, ages 7 to 17, who attend the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County
K.I.S.S. was founded by local mom, Cathy Donnelly, who recognized a need to provide at risk kids the fuel required to finish their day at the Boys and Girls Club
K.I.S.S. began in 2004 serving the De George Club in Davie
K.I.S.S. now serves all 12 clubs in Broward County thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors, individual donors, and our numerous volunteers
The goals of K.I.S.S. are to….
Consistently serve a healthy, free snack each day
Increase the frequency of fresh fruit, milk, yogurt, cheese and vegetables
Educate the children on the benefits of living a healthy life style
Identify & provide for the immediate needs of Clubs & their kids through community donations (i.e. food drive, toy drives, tutoring service, etc)
