The 12th Annual Dunn's Run is quickly approaching on October 5th, 2008. This is a perfect opportunity for your company, school, club, church or team to come together as one to give back to your community. With this Challenge, you will build team morale as you unite your co-workers toward a shared destiny of running or walking in the Dunn's Run event while you raise funds to make our community a more positive place for over 13,000 kids.

Dunn's Run has earned its reputation as the race that signifies the start of the running season. From its trek through three cities Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point and Deerfield Beach  to a beach-side finish, this event is fun for everyone regardless of ability. The 12th Annual Cove Restaurant Golf Tournament

The 12th Annual Cove Restaurant Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:00pm at Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach.  The event will be a four man scramble with a 1:00pm shotgun start and the cost is only $125.00 per person.  This includes range balls, fees/carts, beer/soft drinks on course, dinner/awards banquet to follow at The Cove Restaurant, golf shirt, golf towel, hat and grab bag. Trophies will be awarded to the Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, as well as, First, Second and Third Place.  Sponsorships start at $600.00. 16th Annual Hollywood Welcomes The Stars

This years star-studded event will take place on Thursday, October 23rd, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at The Westin Diplomat Country Club Resort & Spa. MIami Dolphin superstar Channing Crowder will be this years host. 

 Marti & Wayne Huizenga are scheduled to be in attendance as well " Sound Man" and comedian Michael Winslow along with Sportscaster , the legendary Leslie Visser . Miami Dolphin alumni's Jeff Cross , Twan Russell ,  Shawn Wooden , Troy Drayton and Jed Weaver will also be in attendance.  Future Hall of Famer Andre Dawson will be there to meet our guests.
